I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Noakes death. I grew up on Southlea Ave and she was such a pleasant fixture in my life. She had such an incredible way of connecting with children - respecting and treating us as interesting humans from the time we were little and as we grew into adults. Mrs. Noakes was gentle, funny, engaging and full of grace. Our street and this world was truly better because of her. My sincere condolences to her family.
