McNAMARA, Gwendoline Mary (nee Weales) Gwen died on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in her 99th year, after waging a difficult battle with dementia. Daughter of George and Annette Weales of Plymouth, England, Toronto and Oshawa. Predeceased by her loving husband Vincent, son William, sisters Edna, Molly and Mae, brothers Harry, George and Phillip. Survived by her brother Donald (Ruth), daughter Dee (Hilda) Chenier, daughter-in-law Ann, grandchildren Tienne (Christienne) Chenier (Jonathan Brown), Ottawa, Liam McNamara (Andrea Caul), St. John's, NFLD, Emily Attwood (Daniel) Kingston, and her great-grandchildren Luca Chenier, Lyla and Carson Attwood, Liana McNamara and her many nieces and nephews. Gwen was very active in her community of Lorne Park, Mississauga in St. Paul's Anglican Church, the Red Cross in Port Credit, and the office of Dr. John Williams in Clarkson. A special thank you to the Boggs family of Eden Manor and their staff, who looked after mother so well for so many years, and to all the staff of the Annex, especially Tina and Lorna, who cared deeply for her. Our gratitude, love and thank you to Gregoria, her companion and friend through all of this great trial. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Friday, March 6th for a service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow.
