Obituary of Margaret Duff

DUFF, Margaret Elizabeth (Maggie) Peacefully passed, on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the age of 89, at Toronto East General Hospital. Daughter of the late Jim and Eugene Duff. Beloved sister of the late Emmett Duff and cousin of Daphne and Stephen Wace. Maggie was a graduate of St. Clements School in 1942; she then moved on to Shaw Business School for a year before heading off to University of Toronto, Trinity College. She was a much enjoyed member of the Granite Club as well as being an active member herself for 50 years. Since retirement, she donated many volunteer hours to the CNIB, reading magazines and books for others to enjoy. Maggie and her family have been active and long term members of Deer Park United Church. Maggie was blessed with a wide circle of friends who in turn were touched by having her in their lives. Grateful thanks to all the nurses, caregivers and staff of the Palliative Care Unit, Toronto East General Hospital. If desired, donations in Maggie's memory made to the CNIB, Deer Park United Church or Toronto East General Hospital would be appreciated. A Memorial Service will take place at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28.
