Shari & Family, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I only had the pleasure of meeting your father on a couple of occasions, but I am certain he will be missed by many and the wonderful memories you have of him cherished forever. I want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this tough time. Lean on your friends and family for support and know that you are in our prayers. My sincere condolences. The Powers Family

I have many great memories of my dear friend Al. We would often drink several beers with his friends in local 353. We would go to Noah's ark and wait for the meat guy. We would often frequent local bars in East york like the Wally or the bowling alley in Thorncliffe. Al's family and friends always made me feel as special as could be. Al alway did the same of course. We went fishing but I often asked Al "hey buddy were's the worms" he would say "we don't need any we got pop" I would giggle and so would Al. At christmas he would make his famous 28 pound turkey along with Diane's apples and yams. Then as the night grew old we would blast Fleetwood Mac and Captain and Tenille on his home stereo. Shari Tracey Diane and I would all sit and have a blast along side of him. Anywhere in close proximety to Al was an automatic fun zone. He emmitted love and kindness that will be greatly missed. That same love and kindness will continue in his daughters as Al was a big part of their world and he theirs. I'am proud to have known him sad to have lost him. Thanks you so much Big Al for all the fun and love you and your family have brought to my life.
Your Brother John Burlie

Shari and Tracey,
So sorry to hear about your dad.... He was such a nice man... both of your parents always welcomed all of us girls into your home --often! They will both be missed but remembered fondly. I hope the memories you have of them will bring you comfort and strength at this most difficult time.
