I am so sorry for your loss and realize I am five years behind. So sorry to hear that Gaby is no longer with us - she was a woman who was full of grace and wit and charm - and she was a marvelous storyteller. What a life she had. Some of it was indeed tragic, but so much of it was magic. She spent many weekends up at my house in Guelph and I counted her among my dear friends - I will always treasure those days. I am sorry that I lost touch with her when we moved to Texas (pre-internet) and then BC... Gaby, it was an honour to know you and may we meet again. Lots of love until we do xo

The earth mourns because you no longer walk upon it Gabby. I am blessed to have known you.

I am so sorry to hear that Gaby is gone. She will always be one of the most memorable people I have had the pleasure of meeting and I can only imagine how much she will be missed by her many friends and family.

Tanya, I am so sorry for your loss. This tribute is a fascinating read, what a life she led! There is a place in each person's heart designated to her mother. The hole that is left when she leaves us will eventually begin to fill with fond memories and our own love for her. Until that eventuality I hope you find comfort and peace. Thinking of you.
