A few months ago, i was sitting at the back of the church when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to find George's smiling face. He said, "Just wanted you to know that I've got your back." I smiled a little uncertainly, not sure what George meant but grateful for his concern. He grinned, knowing that he'd confused me and explained, "I'm praying that the Lord will give you two angels, one for each shoulder to help you carry your burdens." When I last saw George, a couple of weeks ago, the first thing he said to me was, "How are those angels doing?" I have lost a friend who offered encouragement in a very practical way, by reminding me of God's loving care. And George, perhaps you can thank those angels for me?
