Obituary of Sydney Burk

Burk, Sydney Rosamund (nee Dickson) died peacefully on December 29, 2014, three days short of her 101st birthday, predeceased by her parents, Arthur Sydney Dickson and Kathleen Frances Snow, her brothers, Geoffrey (Jeanne Henderson) and Donald Geale (Ross Buckberrough), sister Elizabeth Bennet, (Hugh) and husband D'Arcy Howard Burk of Blind River, Ontario.

Sydney will be sadly missed by son Kelly Burk (Elide) of Ajax, and daughters Katie Hoffman (David) of Smiths Falls, and Polly Burk of Lake Cowachin, BC. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Jim, Christa, Sarah, Jodie, Jason, Geoff, Graeme, Gordon, Nicole and D'Arcy, and 13 great grandchildren, and special nieces and nephews Vivian Whyte, Julie Nordheimer, Patsy Saunders, Debbie, Peter and Jim Dickson.
