To Mary's Children; Stuart, Lorne and Wendy, I have wonderful memories of times past, when I worked with Mary at the Reddy Memorial Hospital, and she took me under her wing. For awhile, I was a member of the family, and was included in Christmas celebrations when I was alone in the big city. I was always so grateful to be included. Years later, You made sure I came to Jennifer's wedding. I received a special corsage as her Godmother. That was a wonderful reunion, and Mary was so happy. This will be your first Christmas without her. I know it will be difficult and a little strange. Know that love is eternal, and I know how much she loved each one of you - truly and deeply - so let that love reach you today on Christmas Day. It's there for you. I look forward to another grand reunion at Mary's Memorial Service in the spring. With Great Affection, Gloria Thomson

Mary was wonderful, great lady. I am priviledged to have known her. I met Mary through CNIB volunteering some 18 years ago. We immediately connected and visits with Mary over the years meant great time spent together for both of us. We talked, shared stories, walked, went to library, coffee, shopping, took drives on the rolling roads of Caledon, went apple and raspberry picking and now I will forever cherish the memories for I will no longer have the privilege to visit Mary. I am happy that I knew Mary for many years. I will miss visits and talks with you Mary. Goodby my friend.
