Dear Lorraine and Frank: Please accept our heartfelt sympathy at the loss of your Mother. Your Mom and Dad "Auntie Doddie and Uncle Roy" as we called them always welcomed us into their home on our many visits to Toronto for specialist appointments. Let it be known that we have many wonderful memories of the "Brown Family". Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Tom is still living in Toronto and will not be able to attend the interment on Friday but my husband and I will be there. Barbara Maticic (nee Fischer), Tom and Families

When I first moved into my position in Human Resources, working with Angelo Pesce and Larissa Allen - I had the pleasure of knowing Doddie - who was very well liked and respected by all who worked with her, especially the faculty. I remember faculty members coming into the office, many years after she had retired - still asking to speak with her! I used to see her at the 25 year club yearly reunions and she never really changed. My condolences to her family - of which I know she was very proud.

I would like to offer sincere sympathy to the family of "Doddie" Brown. I came to Ryerson in 2000 and had the pleasure of organizing the 25 Year Club where I got to know the 'old crowd'. It was always a pleasure to be in the same room with the group that gathered here on an annual basis. I know that Doddie was a beloved and respected member of the Ryerson family and I wanted to add my name to the list of condolences.

Doddie was an amazing source of support, wit, and wisdom for me during my earliest years at Ryerson. I send my sincere condolences to her family, knowing what a loss she is.
