To the Family Peter was a great help to me in the early 90s while I was at Molsons. We have remained good friends since those days. Peter was a true visionary for the Canadian Armed Forces, in particular his commitment to the Reserves. He was of great assistance to me as Defence Minister where his advice was measured and insightful. He was always courteous, good natured and a man of great integrity. We shall miss him, Canada shall miss him.
