I was saddened to hear the news of Orma's passing. I will always remember her caring face, her smile, her shining eyes. She was always thinking about others, and would go out of her way to help them. She certainly helped my family and myself as I grew from child into a young man. I remember her picking me up from school when I had the flu, giving my mother advice on how to care for me when sick, and always being interested in everything I did. She would also give me treasured gifts, and continued to do so for my own children at Christmas. Her kindness will live on in my heart. I send my condolences to her family and wish them strength during this time. With love, Lucas Goris

Dear Uncle Bob, Carol, Rob, and Mike I am so sorry for your loss. Orma was such a fun loving person and just the best Aunt ever. I will miss her wonderful flamboyancy she always added a special flair to everything she was involved in. I have very many fond memories of Orma that I will treasure. My God Bless you all and keep you. Love always, Brenda Evans

I was so sad to hear of Auntie Orma's passing this week. You just don't expect to lose someone like her -- she has been such a "regular" and expected presence in our family. Even though Auntie Orma was not technically related to the Caskenette Family by blood, there is no doubt in anyone's mind that she was an important and much loved member of our family. There are many fun things that I remember about her, especially from my childhood. But the rings, I can still picture them even now (I'm 43). Those wonderful, big dinner rings that she always wore, whether on the beach or at a dinner. And poor Auntie Orma was a little "directionally challenged" when it came to driving. We never knew if she was going to actually make it to her destination. But somehow she always did. But more important in remembering her, is her sense of humour (especially about herself) and her warm and kind heart. She will be missed by ALL of our family - her family. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her loved ones. And although she will not be at our reunion this August, she will not be far from our thoughts and will always be in our hearts. Bob, Mike, Robbie & Charlotte, Carol: Mark & I would like to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of Orma. Orma was always very kind and supportive to us over the years. We wouldn't have got through certain periods in our life without her. She will be missed. Stay strong Bob and know that Orma will always be in your heart. Love Catherine & Mark Evans
