I was shocked and saddened to hear of Eudora’s passing. I was associated with Eudora through St. Stephen’s Community House as a mediator and trainer for about 20 years. In fact, she mentored me in my very first mediation in the mid-90’s, an experience I remember well to this day. Since then we worked together as co-mediators and trainers on numerous occasions for various clients of St. Stephen’s. She was exceptionally gifted and brought an incisive intelligence, as well as remarkable insight and empathy to our work. I remember being quite in awe of her; a feeling that never quite left me even as I became something of a ‘veteran’ myself. I could not have asked for a better example, or a more supportive and patient teacher. I feel I came to know her quite well over the years. She would often speak of her children and the adventures of grandparenthood, and of her pottery studio. Her high standards had a powerful influence on me professionally, and I have vivid and fond memories of our collaboration. It was truly a privilege to have known her. Peter Kingston
