Obituary of Audrey Hendry

HENDRY, Audrey (nee Gunn) Passed away quietly at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at the age of 98, after an acute illness. Predeceased by husband Bert Hendry, son Brian, and brothers Edison and Robert. Loving mother of Barry (Judy) and Nancy (Steve). Proud grandmother of Luke (Susan) and Joshua (Alana), and adoring great-grandmother of Kuzo. Also mourning are sister Ruth Nadeau and family. Resident of Leaside from 1946, retired from the United Church general office. The family thanks the medical and nursing staff at Sunnybrook, and is grateful for the care from Dr. Jennifer Moore. A memorial reception will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15 with a service at 2:00 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Lung Association or the Alzheimer Society's iPod Project would be appreciated.
