On behalf of Glenn’s many friends at MMM Group we wish to express our sympathies to Eleanor and the family on Glenn’s passing. During the many years Glenn was our colleague and member of the senior management team in the Geomatics practice he was well liked and much respected for his enthusiasm, dedication and technical expertise. He traveled the world working on projects often under challenging conditions in places like Nigeria and Oman that, by today’s standards, seemed remote. We are sorry that his life has ended at such a relatively young age. Please accept our condolences and best wishes. Bruce Bodden P. Eng President and CEO MMM Group Limited

Eleanor and Family, our thoughts and condolences are with you in this trying time. I last spoke to Glenn when he was receiving his BCLS and he was his usual upbeat self and excited about adding yet another professional designation to his long list of accomplishments. He was a mentor and of great help to me when I joined MMM and I will remember most fondly our days together in Oman.

Truly a "Don Mills" boy gone too soon. His smile will be missed here, but in a better place, will light up the surroundings. Alexandra and my sincere condolences, Alexandra and Derek Graham Elora, Ontario (Glenn and Kent's neighbour and schoolmate on Greenland Road.)

Please let Glenn's family know my prayers join those of his many other friends at this difficult time. As boys Glenn and I played hockey togther (his dad was the coach) and later packed groceries as weekend workers at the Dominion Store in Don Mills (where Eleanor also worked). Glenn was a natural leader and made friends easily. I regret that as adults our paths didn't intersect. Again, my prayers are with the family for the loss of Glenn from their lives. --John Mabley

I was shocked and dismayed to hear of the death of Glenn. I had the pleasure to work with Glenn in his capacity as an Ontario Land Surveyor while he was associated with David Morton, O.L.S.. He was always a delight to work with, very laid back and very patient. I don't recall him ever raising his voice with his fellow workers. I enjoyed his quick wit and his unfailing good humour. My wife Marnie met Glenn when we attended a Christmas party at David Morton's house and spent a good part of the evening chatting with Glenn. She too was greatly impressed with his knowledge, wit and intelligence. I lost touch with Glenn when he moved out west but thought of him from time to time. I will miss him.

Faith joins me in extending our deepest sympathy to you, Eleanor and family. I recall meeting Glenn when I first joined MMM in 1979. Along with his colleagues, he quickly made me feel very much a part of the team.In 1980, you may recall, I visited you and Glenn with Roy Depper of Terra Surveys, while you were in Oman, and later while on vacation,Glenn, you and the children visited us when we lived in Ballentrae and the children brought us Christmas decorations which we still use. Much later, I met Glenn while we were on a national committee looking at the integration of a number of industry associations. These will always remain fond memories of my relationship with Glenn. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Sincerely, Hugh and Faith O'Donnell

Please accept my condolences at the passing of Glenn. My association with Glenn started in the late 1980's when Glen was with MMM and we were on the board of an Ontario survey/mapping organization of volunteers (that no longer exists), but, we had a good time. Glenn was a generous giving type of guy that I came to like and respect. I had not seen Glenn for many years but having known Glenn will stay with me forever. Rudy Mak
