I have known Philippe for many years at Davisville Tennis club - probably since 1995. As such, I'm truly saddened and shocked to hear of his passing. I truly enjoyed chatting with Philippe at court-side and to always enjoy a laugh and a joke with Philippe. It was always a pleasure to see Philippe ride up on his bike to the courts, because I knew we would always share a laugh about tennis or any other topic...I remember his love for food as well as the game of tennis, and of course anything French! My sincerest condolences to Philippe's family...and I hope that my memories of Philippe have brought some joy at a sad time. Sincerely...Greg Russell.

Dear Family. Today at the Bread and Butter restaurant on Mt . Pleasant I learned of the sudden passing of Phillippe from a fellow Tennis player from the Davisville Tennis Club. It came as such a shock.I bumped into Philippe and gave him information on another friend whose service was just recent on September 18th at the corner church at Mt. Pleasant. I was pleased to see that Phillipe did come to the service as he quite loved and admired Dave Buchanan.Phillipe said he was such a good man. So it with such sadness I hear of this. My Deepest Condolences go out to his wife and Family. I ask that the Peace of God Remain with each family member during this difficult time. As Ever and a Friend Maxine Stirling Dawe

Marlene, Anita and I are so sorry to hear of Philippe's passing. He was always such a nice guy to me. I remember playing Ping Pong against him when I was a teenager (at the house on Relroy Court). I could beat everybody I played against, except Philippe (he would sunk me). We are thinking of you at this time of sorrow. Peter & Anita

Bien qu'il soit dans l'ordre des choses de mourir un jour, la separation d'un proche est une coupure qui brasse bien des emotions. My deepest sympathy to Marlene and all the family. Philippe, I will miss you.
