Obituary of Graham Worley

WORLEY, Graham David (1930 to 2008)Lawyer, writer, runner, gentleman extraordinaireAt an impasse with a most courageous fight with a rare cancer, Graham, at 77 years young, relented on the anniversary of D-Day, June 6, 2008. He died peacefully in the presence of his family, including Bella, and accompanied by a musical therapist playing the classical guitar. He was the beloved husband of Deirdre, cherished father of Amanda, Alison and Kristen, esteemed father-in-law of Mark Overbury and beguiled grandfather of Hartley and Madison. Honouring his wish, there will be a private family service and cremation of The Chapel St. James'-The-Less in Cabbagetown, on Tuesday, June 10. The family will receive friends at HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A. W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) on Wednesday, June 11th from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to Wellspring which can be reached at donations@wellspring.ca.
