Obituary of Pamela Kandel

KANDEL, Pamela MaryIt is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Pamela, on Friday, June 6th at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Pamela, beloved wife of Stephen for over fifty years, cherished mother of Lynda and Stephanie, adored grandmother of Michele and loved mother-in-law of Anthony. Pamela loved spending time with her family and many dear friends. Pamela and Stephen lived a fun-filled life together. We all had such wonderful times in Florida. She lived her life with such dignity, grace and beauty. She always loved reading the latest bestseller, playing bridge, watching the Toronto Blue Jays and Green Bay Packers. She could finish the New York Times crossword puzzle by the end of the day and she only started it at 4:00 p.m.!!! She will be sorely missed by her relatives and her many friends in the United States. Our lives will never be the same. You will forever remain in our hearts. Our lives are forever enriched by having known you. Dear God, please take care of our beloved Pamela. A private service for immediate family has taken place. Memorial service will be held at a later date. The family extends thanks to the wonderful staff in the Critical Care Unit at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, in particular Dr. Damon Scales, Dr. Andrew Dueck and Dr. Kevin Sanders. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federationen's Foundation, 350 Michael Cowpland Drive, Kanata, Ontario, K2M 2W1.
