Ed, It has been too long since I last saw you, but I have very fond memories of family gatherings first here in Ottawa and later in Toronto and Ottawa when Janey and Neil were alive. Dear Ed, I am very sorry to learn of Joan's death. My parents, Iain and I so enjoyed knowing you both in Ottawa all those years ago. Joan's pilaf made me fond of rice (and my sudden enthusiasm for what I wouldn't eat before certainly bemused Janey). I remember Joan as funny, warm, charming and a great pleasure to be around.
