Better late than never. I met Maggie in her apartment in Winnipeg when I worked with her incredibly vivacious daughter Jane at Festival Manitoba in the 70's. We all sang the libretto from Hello Dolly and she was very complimentary of my singing voice.I remember her saying that she would love to do Mame on Rainbow Stage. I don't recall whether she actually did. But then why play her when she was her. Sad to hear about her passing. I know Jane will never fill that gap. Her brother as well although I never did meet him.All my love.

I met Maggie Morris when she headed the Publicity Department for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in the early 70s. She was charming and funny, and I enjoyed her company very much. With her son Glen and daughter Jane she came to a memorable Christmas dinner in my home, adding so much to the festivities.
She was a vibrant and memorable person, and Jane and Glen have my sincere sympathy.
