Our hearts and minds are full of thoughts of Meg, her life and those closest to her, especially Ann, Jack and Kate. Although Meg faced many difficulties and challenges throughout her life, we will remember her as someone who had spunk and courage; a tremendous sense of justice; a compassion and concern for the vulnerable;a love of occasion; and a desire and hope to live as full a life as possible. It should be acknowledged that sometimes she was hardest on the people who loved and cared for her the most. But those relationships clearly mattered to her deeply. May Meg's soul truly be at peace now. We send our love, affection and prayers to her parents, Ann and Jack and to her sister, Kate.

I’m sorry to hear this very sad news. Meg and I met at a girls’ school at a very young age. We grew up together dreaming that we would live together and have our own catering business. I’m glad she was able to accomplish part of this dream. There was a time is my life when I was deathly ill. When she found out I was in the hospital and not being treated fairly she asked her Dad to come and talk to the doctors, if it wasn’t for her and her family I fear I would have died. She was always there for me, a true friend through thick or thin. She was a big part of my life and I’ll never forget her. Thank you to the whole family for all the times you’ve been there for me and my family, you will always be in my heart, I love you very much.
