Dave, it's hard to believe that one year has already passed, it just seems like yesterday you were taken from me. I miss you very much, your kindness, humour, wit and friendship and most of all not having my best friend to talk to every day. I love you and may you be resting in peace.

Irene and I grew up together in Rochdale,England and I met Dave a few times,after she had settled in Canada, when they came over to the UK - and more recently when Margaret & I visited Canada.We could see that they had a special relationship and were so right for each other.Dave will be sadly missed and fondly remembered because he made her so happy. Thanks for all the great times...making me feel at home in your home; sharing the love of your pets; the Christmas'; Irene's all-day birthday times together; those wonderful, wonderful times up North: my first time on a ski-doo, portaging to the most serene lake I have ever seen, sending Kerry off to the bush with the logging truck and giving him his own trucker's cap, picking blueberries (with one eye out for bears), cozy nights by the woodstove; a million stories; a million meals; laughs and hugs; ...so many good times. Irene: Thank you for letting me know of Dave's passing. I have enjoyed the ribbing and banter over the years directed my way as his insurance agent. We also shared a common enjoyment of the Masonic Order which we often talked about in our phone conversations. So rest peacefully my "brother" and know that those left behind will remember you for your confidence and giving nature!

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I was the baby of the Welsh family, so a big age difference, but often remember Dave coming over to the family home on 31 Premier to visit and share good times & many laughs with my Mom & Dad & my siblings. He will be missed but @ peace and he now joins his buddy Carl up there, and they can continue their antics!
