Just heard of Len's passing today 5/25/08 So Sorry. He was my uncle and I’ve admired him greatly all my life. He was a big help to me many times down through the years and I believe he was a truly a decent person that lived a long successful life. I know many people that loved and respected him; along with all his wonderful family he left behind will miss him.

Leonard Reilly was a great public servant, especially during his years as Eglinton MPP. I was privileged to work with him on election campaigns, and came to know his profound respect for all manner of ordinary people, and his willingness to "go to bat" for constituents who needed help on some personal matter. Because of this, once he became known as MPP his re-elections were joyful events, with crowded committee rooms and happy workers. All this emanated from Len whose open, honest presence was an example to everyone else. It was a privilege to be associated with him in those days.I know the family has had a great loss, and I am sorry. But he lived a great life.My wife , Marion, also sends her condolences. She remembers Leonard's ready smile and positive attitude. Alex. Langford

Dear Lenore, So sorry to read about your father in the paper. My he led a long wonderful life. I read the paper too late to come and see you. I often remember the good times we had in high school and look for you at the reunions. You were good for me. I would never have met Jim if you hadn't made me join the Tri Y with you. Hope we'll meet again. Sylvia
