I just got back from a trip abroad to hear the sad news about Ruth's death. My condolences to the family - she was a warm, big-hearted and lovely lady who was a great support for all we did at CWSA. The world was a better place because of her and she will be missed.

Ruth was a very special friend. For many years our families lived on Cassandra Blvd in Don Mills. Years ago Ruth and I worked together in an ESL Programme at Ranchdale Public School and I have wonderful memories of the hours we spent there together. Ruth was a warm, genuinely kind and thoughtful woman and she will be sorely missed. My sincere sympathy to all of the family.
