Obituary of Lois Kissick

KISSICK, Lois Elizabeth Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, August 10, 2014. Surrounded by her loving family at North York General Hospital. Lois, beloved wife of the late Norm. Dear mother of Jamie (Cathie), John (Miranda) and Peter (Pauline). Loving grandmother of Matthew, Emily, Sean, Katie, Claire, Brendan and Will. She will be fondly remembered by a myriad of friends and family members. Lois, while diminutive in stature was huge in spirit. She remained vibrant and youthful to the end. Nothing made her happier than being around her grandchildren whom she adored. Nothing gave her more sorrow than the Toronto Maple Leafs. The family would like to thank Dr.'s Robson, Rachlis, Down and Chow and the wonderful oncology and palliative care staff at North York General Hospital. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14th. A service in the chapel will take place on Friday, August 15th at 1:00 p.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
