Sad, muttered words seem clumsy openers of the heart. How can we relieve the sharp sting of tragedy! Although it seems exceedingly difficult to comfort with warmth, hope and compassion, we wish only to bring to mind how much we loved your mother’s qualities, and be reminded of her hopes and love for you three, and always comforted knowing she is just a thought away. You are in our hearts, prayers and memories and we are grateful to have shared a small part of her and your lives. With all our love – Henry, Cheryl, Adam and Jaclyn Pomer

Dear Geoffrrey,Jackie and Jamie, I was so very sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful mother. I remember her with a great deal of affection and admiration. She was such an intelligent, caring and helpful supporter of Whitney School when the three of you were students there. I wish you strength and courage as you go forth in your lives and hope that all the love and care your parents gave you in your early years will help lighten your burdens. Sincerely Tamara Moscoe

Dear, Geoff, Jackie and Jamie,
I met your mother more than 25 years ago and I have stayed in touch with her from time-to-time through mutual friends. Let me just stay that each time we ran into each other, whether skiing or at an event, she always had the same warm, welcoming smile. It was as if time apart made no difference. I know she will be missed by each of you in your own way, but while saddened by her loss, I will take away the very fond memory of her warm, welcoming smile.

Dear Geoff, Jackie and Jamie, I am so very sorry to learn today of the death of your mother. I have known Lesley over 30 years when we were roommates on a ski trip in the late 1980s and shared a cottage that summer, to more recently when we were both Board members on the Pink Tulip Foundation. Your mother was a very smart and savvy woman and she will be missed by many. Thinking of all of you, Suzanne Schwenger

Geoff, Jackie and Jamie - we wanted to let you know that we thought your Mom was a super lady and she was a real fun part of the Craigleith scene along with your Dad. I remember meeting her many times at the side of a race course, at a party or on the snowshoe trail with the dog and one time the dog had porcupine quills all over his nose - what a scene. She will be missed and by you most of all - our sadness is with you. Janet, Ellen and Alexa Hardy
