Obituary of James Harding Vowles

Vowles, James Harding Passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of 62 years and best friend of Elizabeth Vowles. Lovingly remembered by sons Douglas, and his wife Ann, and Robert, and his wife Kristina, and as Grandpa to their daughters, Juliana and Ariana. Brother to Bruce (deceased), and his wife Verna and uncle to their sons Jim and David. Brother-in-law to Joan (deceased), and her husband Howard, uncle to their children David, Carolyn, and Catherine. Harding touched many lives in many spheres; he was a theologian, engineer, architect, author, poet, inventor, teacher, tinkerer, photographer, cyber-visionary and business man. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he will be missed. Visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Northlea United Church, 125 Brentcliffe Road, on Thursday, January 9, 2014. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Northlea United on Friday, January 10, 2014, with a reception to follow.
