Obituary of Janet Griffiths

Griffiths, Janet "Jan" (nee Guthrie) August 13, 1953 - December 26, 2013 Janet fought bravely and stoically, but succumbed to cancer on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Sunnybrook's Palliative Care Unit. Cherished wife of Brian Griffiths and beloved daughter of Millie (d. June 2013). Much loved sister of Ken (Kathy), Jodi, and Karen (Rich), proud aunt of Caroline, Stephanie, James and Dylan, step-mom/friend of Angie and Kris. Long-time employee of The Longest Yard, Janet was an expert crossword puzzler and loved horseracing, country music and cowboy boots. Special thanks to Linda Kerrigan, loyal friend and angel. As per Janet's wishes, there will be no funeral; a wake will be held at The Longest Yard, 535 Mt. Pleasant Rd., from 5:00- 9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014.
