Obituary of Katherine Harrington

KATHERINE M. HARRINGTON (Smyth) Passed peacefully away at Baycrest Hospital in Toronto on October 9th, 2013, Katherine Mary Harrington (Smyth) at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Michael F. Harrington CM, LL.D. Left to mourn her passing are her five children, Michael (Ruth) of St. John's, and Paul (Marian Noonan), Beth (Barry Ryan), Denise (John Fraser) and Tom (Lynn Glazier) of Toronto, together with her ten grandchildren, Susan, Paddy, Jane, Paul, David, Kate, Tim, Kathleen, Charlotte and Emily, along with fourteen great- grandchildren. A visitation will be held in Toronto on Wednesday, October 16th at the Newbigging Funeral Home, 733 Mount Pleasant Road from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Funeral and interment will be in St. John's, Newfoundland on a date to be announced. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Briton House for their care and support.
