Obituary of William Heath

William Livesay Beverley Heath September 19, 1928 - August 6, 2013 Bill died peacefully at home August 6 at the age of 84. Much loved husband of Josephine for 57 years; devoted father to his children Hilary (Bob d. and Don), Michael (Maureen), Jennifer (Steven) and Norman (Cathy); proud grandfather to his 10 grandchildren: Andrew, Patrick, Charles, Lisa, Victoria, Daniel, Malcolm, Hayden, Rachel and Jack; brother to Rosalind Logue and Larry Heath. Past-President of Robinson & Heath Limited and a founding member of the Canadian Institute of Customs House Brokers. Major Heath was a distinguished member of the Royal Regiment of Canada, the Royal Canadian Military Institute and a past-President of the Fort York Legion. An active member of the Order of Saint Lazarus, St. John Ambulance, the U of T Soldiers' Tower Committee, Kiwanis Club, and Trinity College (Salterrae Society). A graduate of UTS and U of T. A major supporter of the Opimian society and many other community and arts organizations. A recipient of the Canada 2000 Award and the U of T Arbor Award. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas's Anglican Church - 383 Huron Street, Toronto - 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013. Reception to follow at the Albany Club - 91 King Street East - Toronto.
