I can remember, every summer spending many a day at the family cottage along Georgian Bay, and not a summer did pass that we did not spend a few hours now and then at Paul Rabisson's cottage near by. Quite often my sister, I and our parents were invited over to Paul and Magda Rabisson's cottage.
As children, my sister and I would roam about outside often on the large sand hill behind the cottage, or play hide and seek inside, while the adults gossiped away.
As adults we would usually play cards, for many years it was Gin Rummy, in the latter years it was Wizard. Always it was time spent having great fun, who would win too easily and who whould have just no luck. Never knew what to expect.
Well, I will very much miss those days, but I will always cherish those memories, both the childhood as well as the adulthood memories.
Thank you Onu Paul, Uncle Paul Rabisson. Thank you for the memories.
