Duff, James Robertson
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 15 in his 88th year. Born May 29, 1924 in Renfrew, Ontario, the youngest of five children, he is predeceased by his brothers Alex, Lewis and Cameron and sister Marjory. Will be deeply missed by wife Audrey, his son Graeme (Karen) and fondly remembered by grandchildren Cameron and Emily. Also survived by his daughter Heather. Jim enlisted in the RCAF in 1942, where he attained the rank of Flying Officer. Graduated from McGill University in 1947 with a Bachelor of Commerce. Jim was a life-long competitive tennis player and represented Canada on a number of occasions. Long time member of The Cricket Club and of the Queens' Club, which he referred to as "heaven on earth for a tennis player". Many thanks to the supportive and caring staff on LSSW at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre.
