Obituary of Richard Peterson

Peterson, Richard Bruce (April 2, 1947 - July 18, 2014) - peacefully at his summer home on Georgian Bay, surrounded in his final days by his loving family and friends. Master of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, since 1984. Beloved husband of Jennifer (nee Jolliffe), loving father of Thomas (Karen), Sarah (Pedro), Gregory (Whitney) and Jamie (Natalia). Will be sadly missed by brothers Robert and James and sister Barbara. Dear Grandfather to baby Catherine. He will always be remembered for his welcoming nature and sense of humour by those who knew him in Aurora, Toronto, Carling and Phoenix. May the wind ever be at your back; see you at the 19th hole, Captain! Visitation at Humphrey Funeral Home at 1403 Bayview Ave., Toronto, Thursday, July 31st, 7-9 pm. Interment at Carling Cemetery, 206 Highway 559, Carling Township, on Tuesday August 5th, 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Parry Sound Health Centre, Hospice, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
