It was just a few days ago that a colleague asked after Paul and indicated that we must " check in on him " Little did we know that he would leave us just a few day's later. Paul, ( Mr. Bracken as he was know then ) sat on my Examination Panel 50 years ago. Since that time he had often given me advice and shared a Lunch to muse on our Industry & it's characters - he being one of the most memorable. He was never one to be shy when making his views known and he was always able to articulate his perspective with a fine blend of humour & sarcasm. He could be a " Prickly Son of a Gun " when on opposite sides of a file and not one to back away from a fight. His light was never hidden under a bushel He brought a degree of Professionalism to the career he loved and this is the Passing of a Legend and a Great Friend Those Golf stories will be remembered My thoughts & Prayers are with the entire Family Regards John H Cherrie CLA. I was sadden to hear of Paul's passing. He was a mentor and inspiration to many people in the insurance industry. I often had opportunities to interact with Paul at industry functions. His cheerful and pleasant nature always made me smile. I will remember him fondly. My deepest condolences to the family and all of those close to him.
