My Uncle brought a death notice with him when we had him over for dinner the other day.
He showed me Suilo's obituary and explained that this was the man that my father accompanied on a painting and sketching tour of the east coast when they where classmates in architecture school.
Before my father, John E. Owen passed away (many years ago), he made a point of digging up his old watercolours and sketchs and framing the best ones to leave behind as a legacy.
Some of these were from that trip way back in 1950 or so.
