Obituary of Frances Arrigo

Frances Margaret Arrigo (née Ryan), LGCHS Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Beloved wife of Augustine (Gus). Cherished mother of Augustine (Claudia), Michael, Daniel (Fiona) and the late Mary Frances. Wonderful Gramma to Nicholas, David and Camille. Predeceased by her siblings Matthew, James, Helen, Rita, Marie and Pat. Sister-in-law of the late Anthony and Anne Arrigo, and Frank and Mary Arrigo. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Always optimistic and our constant ray of sunshine, Mom was blessed with a beautiful singing voice. In her early years as a young teacher, she led junior choirs and performed in Gilbert & Sullivan productions. Throughout her life, Mom participated in the musical liturgy of her church as a member of many choirs. A keen golfer, bingo and card player, Mom was always happiest when sitting in her front room, singing at family gatherings. We will all miss those moments the most. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Sunday, June 15, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16 at 10:30 a.m. in the CHURCH OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD, 21 Simonston Road, Thornhill.
