Obituary of Zella Connell

CONNELL, Zella G. (nee Cochrane) Passed away peacefully in Scarborough on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Robert Eldon Connell and special companion of the late William McCrostie Sr. Loved mother of Shirley (Scott Maynard), Ruth Connell and Robert (Jeanne) Connell. Proud grandmother of Donna, John, Cheryl, B.J., Jennifer, Julie and JoAnne and great-grandmother of Jack and Vasko. She is survived by her nieces, nephews and their families. Long time member of the St. Andrews United Church and founding member and director of the Toronto Ragtime Society. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13.
