Obituary of Eva Boomer

BOOMER, Eva (née Pankhurst) Passed away on June 11, 2014. She was born in Toronto, May 17, 1915, the daughter of Edward Pankhurst and Isabel (née Biggs). She was the loving wife of Carson Earl Boomer (deceased 2002), cherished mother of Barry, Eleanor (Ed) and Greg (Elizabeth). She was the beloved grandmother of Michelle, Natalie, Laura, Philip, Ed, Debbie, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is survived by her brother Ted Pankhurst (Trasna). Eva was predeceased by her sisters Ruth and Irene. Mom had the great capacity to make new friends throughout her life. For the past four years Eva resided at Woodhaven, in Markham, where she received loving care and many wonderful visits from friends and family. We will deeply miss this beautiful lady. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, June 13.
