Obituary of Rainer Hackert

HACKERT, Rainer Klaus Passed away peacefully in his home in Toronto on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the age of 63. Survived by his children Nils-Oliver and Charlotta Juliane and their mother, Gudrun. Rainer Hackert was born August 1, 1950 in Hamburg, Germany where he began a successful career with Tchibo Coffee AG. In March, 1982 he immigrated to Canada to take over Polaris Realty (Canada) Ltd. Later on, he was asked to become CEO of yet another company, Fragrance Resources. Due to his hard work ethic, the family was privileged to have an outstanding life. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12th. Rainer will be laid to rest at a private funeral held at MOUNT PLEASANT CEMETERY.
