My deepest sympathy to Pat's family, friends and colleagues. I only wish I could be there in person to give you my condolences. I am very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with and get to know Pat. She was a patient and kind teacher and friend. I admired her youthful spirit and will always remember her with a smile on my face.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have some very fond memories of Pat that I will always treasure. I especially remember when Aunt Phil and Pat came to the house just after we purchased our new puppie, Dylan. Mom wasn't home and I was unsure of whether to invite them in or close the door (I was about 12 years old). I think we all sometimes had difficulty making conversation with Aunt Phil. She seemed to be, at the time, very formidable. Pat on the other hand was much easier to talk with. I remember they came in for a few minutes and the puppy was very excited to meet some new people. He started running around the living room/dining room in circles and next thing we know he has jumped up on one of Mom's "good dining room chairs" and started to run around the dining room table. Well you can imagine the horrified looks on Aunt Phil and Pat's face. I don't think they could believe we had bought ourselves another big dog. Well, needless to say they didn't stay very long after that and when Mom came home and I told her about it I'm sure she was trying to think of what she would say to her Aunt and cousin. After that visit every time Pat and/or Aunt Phil came to the house Dylan was always on his best behaviour for them, but the memory of Dyland running around our dining room table always makes me smile!! Louise and Family and David - Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your Aunt. I am thinking of you. - Sandy/Dwayne
