Mr. Martin, as I called him in my younger days, walked by our house on
Winston Place, Beaconsfield, to catch the train in Beaurepaire, into Montreal.
I remember a large train set in the rec room of his home.

Jack Martin; he is an inspiration to us all.He gave instead of taking. His love of life, friends and family are things I will always remember. I was in touch with Jack throughout his later years and knew his quality of life was poor. Now he is in a better place. One of the best things Jack did was leave a family that will continue living and improving the values he gave to us. Jack Martin made me a better person. I'm honored to know him and look forward to seeing him again. I'm not ready to leave the mortal life yet but in some ways envy Jack - reconnected with Hans,Don,John,Bill and others in the "Rat Pack". We have lost an old friend...growing up beside the Martins, and having shared life long memories, we are all part of an extended family...and i will miss u Jack very much..y heart goes out to Irene, Cathy and Don, and all your families...until we all meet again...rest in peace Jack...
