Obituary of James Rockley

ROCKLEY, James Arthur William - (1925 - 2014) With sadness we announce the passing of Jim Rockley on February 10, 2014. Born in Calgary, he loved nature and instilled that love in his children. He was always supportive and encouraging of both family and friends, but he expected excellence from himself and from others - and he usually got it. As a Red Beret in the Canadian Forces in WWII he was seriously injured when his parachute failed to open, causing injuries that he bore stoically for life. In business he was a highly respected, globally recognized management consultant working around the world. We wish to thank the staff at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Veterans Wing for their dedication and caring in Jim's final years. Jim was predeceased by son Eric. He is survived by Betty, his wife of thirty years and by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all.
