Obituary of Philip Roche

ROCHE: Philip Anthony Avid golfer, gardener, past president/life member of the Tweed Horticultural Society, and chief instigator of the "Philimpics", passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 25th, 2014. Phil Roche, of Tweed, Ontario, in his 67th year. Son of the late William (Rory) and Philippa Roche (Nee-Dale) of Sydney Australia. Phil will be sadly missed by his wife Andrea Johnston, sons Eric and Marc, and sisters Patricia Roche and Christine Furedy (John). Lovingly remembered by his extended family and a host of friends and colleagues both in Tweed and Toronto. The family will receive friends at the McConnell Funeral Home, Tweed from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 30 and then at the Humphrey Funeral Home,1403 Bayview Ave, Toronto from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. A reception will follow.
