OLIPHANT, Joyce Grace Gwendoline (nee Stephens) Passed away peacefully on Sunday February 23, 2014 from a massive stroke suffered in the past week. Beloved wife of James LeRoy Oliphant. Loving mother of Dr. Naomi Joyce Oliphant of Louisville, Kentucky. Dear aunt to Deborah Wilkinson (Jamie) and Karen Parrinder (Peter) and their families. Predeceased by her parents, Alfred John and Carol Stephens. Fondly remembered by cousins in England and Scotland. The family is grateful for the care provided over the years by Dr. Sherif Hanna and Dr. Alison Culbert as well as Rosita Gonzales and Cynthia Blackwood who allowed her to remain in her home until the end. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W.
