NEAR, Dorothy ChristinaPeacefully at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, in her 93rd year on Monday, April 14, 2008. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Herbert Walker Near. Loving mother of Ronald and his wife Joyce, David, Barry and his wife Joanne. Beloved grandmother of Roger, Christopher, Wendy, Jennifer, Stephanie and Taylor. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 17. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, April 18, at one o'clock. A reception will be held following the service in the Leaside Room in the funeral home.
