dean, barry and carolyn although i'm unable to attend the services on saturday, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. somewhere on my train "journey" to ottawa i"ll pause to give one long blast on my engine whistle, to pay tribute to jimmy martins life and memory. also to honour all the war veterans who fought and sacrificed for our freedom, to make this world a better place in which we all can live.i am forever grateful. regards james, mary and family. p.s. i am a via rail engineer and dean's best friend.

We Ellen and I,and all the Hendry family offer our condolences for the loss of a wonderful father, as the Martin family well know we as friends and neighboursfor the last 48 years watched each family grow, and "Jimmy" was always around if you needed any work done around your house,as a matter of fact he built most of our basement apartment and i had the pleaser of being his helper,however in all honesty he used to drive me up the wall as he was a perfectionist and would take all day to do things and they had to be perfect (no moulding to cover little mistakes) because of that our basement stands today much the way he finished it. God bless you jimmy you were a good family man ,and will be missed Rest in Peace Ellen and John
