Dear Kent and family, I was very sorry to read about Bonnie's passing. I met Bonnie when Willow was in its infancy and I was one of the second group of Peer Support Volunteers trained. Soon after that meeting, I was diagnosed with metastatic disease and Bonnie was a ray of hope for me - full of courage and strength and passion to help other women living with cancer and their families. Her contributions to that cause are significant and memorable. I am sure that there will be many friends with you on these difficult days. Bonnie would have known about the Healing Journey at Princess Margaret Hospital. When there is someone who needs support with any challenge related to living with cancer, our group puts that person "in the light" by sending thoughts of peace and comfort. I was so sorry to hear about Bonnie's passing. In all the years that I worked with Bonnie at Willow I only knew her to be loving, kind ,d generous with all of who worked with her and all of thw women she counselled.
