Obituary of Peter Walker

Peter Donald Walker September 17, 1942 - January 27, 2014 Peacefully at his home in Toronto, surrounded by his loving family. Peter was the beloved husband of Beth and loving father of Matthew and Geoffrey. Survived by his sister Marie Taylor. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his brother Gordon Walker. Peter had an entrepreneurial spirit with an incredible drive to succeed. During his working years, he was President and CEO of Corona Gold and served as a Director of Treasury Metals. His attention to detail and leadership skills were appreciated by all his colleagues. Peter was a true family man. Friday movie nights with Chinese food was a cherished family tradition. Summers spent on Lake Joseph, in Muskoka created special memories, which will never be forgotten. Fishing with his son Matthew, long games of backgammon and watching football with his son Geoffrey were some of his favourite pastimes. Peter spent 28 unforgettable years of marriage with the love of his life, Beth. He started with nothing and left peacefully with everything. A private family service was held.
