Obituary of Marjorie Stoyle

Marjorie 'Marnie' Claire Stoyle It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marjorie 'Marnie' Claire Stoyle on Friday, January 24th, 2014 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her loving sister Dorothy Lilias Dutton. Marnie adored her niece Leslie (deceased), nephew Brian and her great- niece and nephews Michael, Amy and Timothy. She loved them dearly and nurtured them as her own. While Marnie and her sister Dorothy were inseparable, Marnie forged her own life, working for over 45 years as a medical secretary at Toronto General Hospital. Many a cold and blustery Santa Claus parade were watched by her niece and nephew from the warmth of her office window. She willingly gave her time, teaching Sunday School for countless years at St. Clement's Anglican Church and volunteering in the church office at St. James. She loved her art, her books and her needle point, but most of all, she loved family. The family will receive friends for a funeral service in THE CATHEDRAL CHURCH OF ST. JAMES, 65 Church Street (at King Street), Toronto on Saturday, February 1st at 3:00 p.m. In celebration of Marnie's life and in recognition of her volunteer work, please consider a memorial donation to The Cathedral Church of St. James (M5C 2E9). Condolences and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
