Obituary of Dorothy Adams

ADAMS, Dorothy Margaret (nee Purvis) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2013 in Toronto. Beloved wife of the late William Houghton Adams. Loving mother of Andrew, Jeremy and Rosalind and her husband Michael Crothers. Devoted Grammy of Sarah and Chelsea Crothers, Alexandra and Gillian Adams and Drew and Jack Adams. Dear sister of Lorraine Davie and Carole Bowie. Dorothy lead a full and happy life as a member of the Lord Seaton group at St. John's Anglican York Mills Church, member of the IODE, Milne House Garden Club, on the Board of Directors at North York General Hospital and as a member of the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club. A special thank you to Meighen Manor for their compassion and care. Remembrance service for family and friends will be held at ST. JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH YORK MILLS, 19 Don Ridge Drive on Saturday, January 25 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a reception in the Garnsworthy Room.
