It is hard to believe a year has past since you lost your dear Mother. Alot of memories of your Mother with my parents Anne and Wink Wilson of Napanee years. Your Mother spent time with Mom both in Florida and here in later years in Niagara Falls. We had a few lovely lunches in Niagara on the Lake. She told me alot of history of your Dad and they almost moved to Niagara on the Lake. We hope you are able to enjoy your cottage. Our Bayshore Road had great memories with the parents Napanee roots. Hi Suzi I am so sorry to see about your mum. I was dreaming about you and her last night so I looked her up. I know she had been living at Belmont House. My mother was there several years ago and is long gone now. I live in Guelph now. I hope you are well. You are one of the lost former Branksomites. Was sosorry to hear about Aunt Jeanie hope you are doing well. After 58 years of knowing your mom most of my life really it was always interesting. From city life to cottage life just never knew what was going to happen next. Through laughter,tears ups and downs your mom was always there when we needed her. My dad, Fran Collins, liked to tell the story of visiting Jeannie in her office in Toronto where she had autographed pictures of Percy Faith and Bob Hope and a tin can on the fireplace mantel. Dad asked why the can was next to the two photographs, Jeannie replied "Oh Fran, that's Faith, Hope and Charity."

So sorry Suzi. You are both free now. Jeanie was larger than life; a dynamo, a successful tour company entrepreneur, a loyal and loving mother and a beloved wife to the best dad a girl could ever have - Sammy. She was a get-it-done, often funny, take charge, always loyal to you as you were to her, funny, cottage-loving, generous woman. And what a hostess in her day!
